 Jim Carrey is a Canadian-American actor, comedian and producer with an estimated value of $180 million. Jim Carrey was the most famous actor in the world for around a decade. The man could do no wrong, and every comedic project he participated in brought massive sums of money to the studio who was lucky enough to get him a lead part. Jim Carrey was already a well-known comedian in Canada at the time Rodney Dangerfield noticed him in the late 1970s. He moved to Las Vegas and California after opening for Mr. Dangerfield. All the while the comedian continued to gain the reputation of his hilarious impressions and quirky sense of humor. The television and film industries were booming in the 1980s. After appearing in a series of low-budget films as well as starring in the short-lived series, "The Duck Factory", he began to gain more prominent roles in films as "Earth Girls are Simple", "Once Bitten", and "Peggy Sue got Married".Dumb and Dumber", "Liar Liar" as well as "Bruce Almighty" along with numerous films that blurred the lines between comedy and drama, including, "The Truman Show",
