Anson Williams

Anson Williams, born Anson William Heimlich on September 25, 1949, in Los Angeles, California, is an American actor and singer. The actor is well-known for his part in Happy Days (1974-1984), where he played the role of Warren "Potsie" the gullible and well-intentioned singing sensation. But his appearances dwindled in subsequent seasons. In a few episodes, Richie, Potsie, and Ralph formed a band combo which performed at Arnold's Drive-In as well as other places. As Potsie, Williams actually sang lead vocals for the group. Williams's former wife Lorrie Mahaffey was the one who sang lead vocals in the group. Williams later returned to Happy Days in a retrospective manner.
