Shemar Moore

 American actor Shemar Franklin Moore was born on 20th April 1970. He is well-known for his performances as Malcolm Winters (1994-2005), Derek Morgan (2005-2016) and Hondo on S.W.A.T. All of this on CBS. Moore was the third host of Soul Train, from 1999 until 2003.Moore has won eight NAACP Image Awards as well as the 2000 Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his work in The Young and the Restless. In 2016, Moore was nominated to the People's Choice Award for his work on Criminal Minds. He is the father of Marilyn Wilson (a business consultant) and Sherrod Moore. Moore was the child of an African-American father and a French-Canadian mom. He attended Santa Clara University as a pitcher and outfielder for four years. Moore is a bachelor's student in Communications , with a concentration in Theater Arts.
