Paula Maxine Patton, born December 5, 1975, is an American actress. Patton's first film role was in 2005's comedy Hitch. She has since been in roles in movies DyjA Vu (2006) and Precious (2008). On the track "Can U handle it?" she was the female counterpart. Robin Thicke wrote the song and would later get married to. The song was co-written by Robin Thicke. Patton is credited with songwriting on many Robin Thicke albums, under the moniker "Max", which she derived from her middle name (Maxine). Patton's film debut was with a small role in the romantic comedy Hitch with Will Smith. In the same year, she followed it with a small part in the drama film London. In 2006, she appeared with fellow OutKast members Andre Benjamin and Big Boi in the musical film Idlewild written and directed by Bryan Barber.
