Heidi Klum (pronounced ['haIdi: 'klUm]; born 1 June 1973) is a model from Germany and America. She's a TV host, producer and businessperson. In 1998 she was on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She is also the first German model to be a Victoria's Secret Angel. Klum is a TV host, producer, and businesswoman. In 2008, Klum received an Emmy nomination and was awarded the Outstanding Host Award for the Reality or Reality Competition Program in 2013. Klum has been nominated for six times for Emmy Awards. She has been a spokesmodel for Dannon and H&M and has appeared in numerous commercials featuring McDonald's, Volkswagen and others. In 2009, Klum became Barbie's official ambassador for Barbie's 50th birthday. Klum was a few times an actress and played parts in films including Blow Dry (2001) and Ella Enchanted (2004).
