 Gwen Renee Stefani (/st@'fa:ni/ born on 3 October 1969) is an American singer, songwriter, fashion designer, and actress. She is the co-founder, lead singer, and the primary songwriter for the band No Doubt The group's hits include "Just a Girl", "Spiderwebs", and "Don't Speak" which is from their 1995 breakthrough studio album Tragic Kingdom, as well as "Hey Baby" and "It's My Life" from their subsequent albums.During the band's hiatus, Stefani embarked on a solo career in 2004 when she released her debut album, a studio album Love. Angel. Music. Baby. The album was influenced by pop music from the 1980s and was a critical and commercial success. Six songs were released, including "What You Are Waiting For?" ", "Rich Girl", "Hollaback Girl", and "Cool". "Hollaback Girl", the first US-exclusive download to sell one million copies, was number one on the Hot 100 chart of Billboard. Stefani released her second studio album in 2006.
