Celine Dion

 Celine Marie Claudette dion CC OQ (born 30 March 1968) is a Canadian singer. Her powerful and technically competent voice, Dion is the best-selling Canadian recording artist, and the best-selling French-language artist ever. Her music has incorporated genres such as pop, rock, R&B gospel, and classical music.Born into a large family in Charlemagne, Quebec, Dion was a rising teen star in her home country with a series of albums in French during the 1980s. The first time she gained international recognition was by winning both the 1982 Yamaha World Popular Song Festival and the 1988 Eurovision Song Contest, where she was a representative of Switzerland. After getting fluent in English, she signed up for Epic Records in the United States. Dion's debut album in English, Unison, was her first. This made her an extremely popular pop singer across North America as well as other English-speaking countries. Although her songs have mostly been composed in English and French Dion has also sang in Spanish, Italian and German in addition to Latin, Japanese and Chinese.
