DMX

 Earl Simmons (December 18, 1970 - - April 9, 2021) was known as DMX (short for "Dark Man X"), was an American actor and rapper. He started rapping in the late 1990s. He released his debut album It's dark and Hell Is Hot in 1998, to both critical acclaim and commercial success. The album sold 251,000 copies within its first week of release. DMX released his best-selling album, ... And Then There Was X, in 1999. The album included the smash hit song "Party Up (Up in Here)". His 2003 singles "Where is the Hood At?" Commercially and his 2003 singles "Where the Hood Is?" and "X Gon' give It to Ya?" were also highly popular. The artist was the first to release an album that reached No.1 five times in consecutive weeks on the Billboard 200 charts. In total, DMX sold over 74 million records worldwide.DMX was featured in movies such as Belly, Romeo Must Die, Exit Wounds, Cradle 2 the Grave and Last Hour. He was a part of the reality TV series DMX, Soul of a Man.
