Crystal Bernard

 Crystal Lynn Bernard, born September 30, 1961, is an American singer-songwriter, actress and comic. She is most well-known for her roles in Wings (1990-1997), Amy (1985-1989), K.C. Born in Garland, Texas to Southern Baptists, Bernard was raised on Happy Days (1983-1984). Her father, Jerry Wayne Bernard, was a televangelist who travelled throughout the United States singing and preaching. Her mother, Gaylon (nee Fussell) Bernard, was a teacher, but in the 80s, she turned an artist and sculptor.Bernard became an entertainer at an early age singing gospel music alongside her sister Robyn who was also an actress. One recording that survived in those days was "The Monkey Song", a song on Feudin' Furssin'' and Frettin'. It was recorded by Crystal at age eighteen years old. While growing up in Houston Texas, Bernard studied acting at Alley Theatre. She went to Spring High School and continued her education at Baylor University, studying acting as well as international relations.
