Barbi Lynn Klein (born on January 28, 1950) was a popular American singer, actress model, model, and TV presenter. The appearances she made in Playboy magazine as well as her role as an actor on the comedy series Hee Haw for four seasons are among her most well-known. She also released several moderately successful albums in the 1970s. Benton quit show business following the birth of her son in the year 1986. After a stint at UCLA to pursue a career as a veterinarian, she found it difficult to stand the thought of blood, and began modeling. After graduation from high school she attended UCLA and, when she turned 18 years old, took on an internship with Playboy as an extra for their entertainment show Playboy After Dark. She began as an extra however, Hugh Hefner became a fan and she was elevated to the role of host.
