American actor Ariel Winter Workman was born January 28 in 1998. She was the star of Modern Family's Alex Dunphy on ABC. In recognition of this, she and co-stars won four consecutive Screen Actors Guild Awards. She also voiced the main character on the Disney Junior show Sofia the First and Penny Peterson in the 2014 animated film Mr. Peabody and Sherman.In the animated children's show Phineas and Ferb, she played the role of Gretchen before winning the regular role as Alex Dunphy in the series Modern Family, which premiered in 2009 and ended in 2020. She continues to work in TV animation. In actuality she was the voice of Marina the Mermaid for Disney Junior's Jake and the Never Land Pirates. In 2012, Winter was cast as Sofia who was the lead character in a then-new Disney animated series called Sofia the First. The show premiered on January 1, 2013 on Disney Junior.
