Maggie Grace was born Margaret Grace Denig in September 21 1982. Maggie Grace is an American actor best known for her character Shannon Rutherford in ABC TV show Lost. Maggie Grace was born in Worthington from Ohio dropped out high school and moved to Los Angeles after her divorced parents. Even though she had financial difficulties and in the beginning, she made her acting debut acting as Rachel's Room's principal character. In 2002, she was nominated for an Young Artist Award with her role as 15-year old murdered Martha Moxley. In 2004 Grace was selected to portray Shannon Rutherford in the television series Lost on which she was the main actor for the first two seasons winning a Screen Actors Guild Award shared with the cast of the ensemble. Grace left the television series in 2005 to focus on a more significant role in movies, and had a role alongside Tom Welling as Kim Mills in Taken. In 2007, she appeared in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club and, opposite Liam Neeson's Kim Mills as Kim Mills for Taken. She played the same role in Taken 2 and Taken 3 (both in 2012). Grace played Shannon's part in Lost for two more episodes, including the final episode of the series. Grace was a part of the show's sixth season, which aired between 2013 and 2014. She plays Faith as a groupie as well as a model for actors. Hank Moody is played by David Duchovny. Being part of the Gyllenhaal Family, she is the daughter and elder sister to actor Jake Gyllenhaal. When she was a teenager her career began in small roles for her father. She was also in Donnie Darko along with her sister. She then appeared on Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (both 2002) and Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal received critical acclaim for her performance as a lead character in Secretary (2002), which is an erotic romantic drama and Sherrybaby (2006). She was also nominated for the Golden Globe Award. She had a number of commercially successful movies including World Trade Center. However, it was her role in the role of Rachel Dawes that brought her wider attention in The Dark Knight (2008). In the film, her performance as Crazy Heart as a mother who has a child received her a nomination to an Academy Award Best Supporting Actress. The following year, she starred in dramatics and comedies: Nanny McPhee as well as the Big Bang (2010) Hysteria (2011) and The Won't Back Down (2012). Her other roles includes Secret Service agents in White House Down (2013 an action thriller) and actors in Frank (2014, drama The Kindergarten Teacher 2018), and her role as the Kindergarten Teacher. In 2021, Gyllenhaal has made her scriptwriting and directing debut in the psychological drama The Lost Daughter for which she won the Venice International Film Festival's Best Screenplay Award and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay.
