Belfort

 Jordan Ross Belfort is an American financial criminal, entrepreneur and a former stockbroker. He was born on the 9th of July, 1962. In 1999, Belfort pleaded guilty to fraud and related charges relating to stock market manipulation and running a boiler room as part of a penny stock scam. Belfort was imprisoned for 22 months prison under an agreement wherein his testimony was given against a variety of partners and subordinates in his scam. He was arrested in 2007 and published The Wolf of Wall Street and later, it was adapted to the Martin Scorsese movie of the same title released in 2013. Leonardo DiCaprio played him in the movie. Belfort received his degree from American University in Biology. Belfort decided to make use of the funds earned from Loewenstern to pay for dental school. He enrolled at his first school, the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. Belfort left the school after the dean of the school said to him on his first daythat "The gold age of dentistry is over. It's not the best place if you are here to make a fortune. Belfort's first wife Denise Lombardo and Belfort divorced while running Stratton Oakmont. He later married Nadine Caridi, a British-born, Bay Ridge
