 Wonder Woman is a 2017 superhero film that is based on the DC Comics character of the identical name. It was produced by Warner Bros. Pictures, DC Films, Atlas Entertainment and Cruel and Unusual Films, and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, it is the fourth installment of the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) as well as a prequel/spin-off of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016). Patty Jenkins directed the film and Allan Heinberg wrote the story. The story was written by Zack Snyder, Jason Fuchs and Heinberg. Wonder Woman stars Gal Gadot as the lead role. In addition, Robin Wright and Danny Huston are also in the cast. Connie Nielsen and Connie Nielsen are also part of the cast. After her first appearance in Batman: v Superman: Dawn of Justice, this is Wonder Woman's second theatrical live-action theatrical film. In Wonder Woman, the Amazon princess Diana is determined to end World War I, believing the conflict was started by the longtime enemy of the Amazons, Ares who is killed when American pilot and spy Steve Trevor crash-lands on their island Themyscira and informs her about the incident. Ivan Reitman was the producer and director of the live-action Wonder Woman movie. The project was in developing hell for several years;
