Pete Hegseth

 Peter Brian Hegseth was born June 6th the 6th of June, 1980. He is an American television host writer, author, and Army National Guard officer. He also served as the former executive director of two political advocacy groups Vets For Freedom (now Concerned Veterans for America). He is a member of the Koch brothers' conservative advocacy group, which is a proponent of privatization of the Department of Veterans Affairs. He was an Princeton University undergraduate. In 2016, he emerged as a staunch supporter and ally of Donald Trump's presidential bid, and served as an advisor on occasion to Trump throughout the latter's presidency. According to reports, he persuaded Trump that three American soldiers convicted or accused of war crimes in connection to the shooting of noncombatants in Iraq were to be granted pardons. Hegseth was a Guantanamo bay commander during his military service . He also advocated for the treatment of prisoners in prison.
