 Michael Strahan is a retired American football player, sports analyst and talk show host with a net worth of $65 million. Michael Strahan played defensive end for the New York Giants for 14 seasons. Strahan is an analyst for the NFL show "Fox NFL Sunday" and co-host of ABC's "Good Morning America. "Michael Anthony Strahan was born in Houston, Texas on November 21, 1971. He is the youngest of six kids born to Gene Willie Strahan as well as Louise Strahan. At the age of nine, Strahan was nine years old, his family moved to the Army base located in Mannheim, West Germany. Mannheim American High School was where Strahan was a regular football player. It is a U.S. Department of Defense Dependent High School. During the summer between his junior and senior year of high school, his father took him back to Houston to stay with his uncle Art who was a former NFL player, so that he could play football in the fall semester. This move enabled Strahan to receive a football scholarship from Texas Southern University.
