Matthew

Alex Trebek continues to be a kind, decent man even after his passing. "Jeopardy" the late Trebek host's clothes are being donated by the Trebek family as well as "Jeopardy!" to The Doe Fund. The Doe Fund provides social services, including housing, continuing education, vocational training and paid work to Americans who are in the prison system or are addicted. Matthew, Trebek's son Matthew suggested that Trebek donate 14 suits, 58 dressshirts, 300 tie and other clothing items. The clothes will be distributed to those in need of job interviews under the Doe Fund's "Ready, Willing and Able" program. The planned complex of 50,000 square feet will be a home for seniors who are homeless in the San Fernando Valley. This isn't just a once-off gift from Trebek. For years, he's been contributing financially to Hope of the Valley. In March of 2020 He donated to the charity $100,000 and to be put into a facility located in North Hollywood. The "Alex and Jean Trebek Multipurpose Room" will be located there when it's finished. It will also have about 80 beds, bathroom, and laundry rooms.
