 Infertility can be caused by a number of factors that can affect either male or female reproductive systems. But, it's sometimes not possible to explain the root causes of infertility.tubal disorders such as blocked fallopian tubes, which are then caused by untreated sexually transmitted infections (STIs) or complications of unintentional abortion postpartum, abdominal/pelvic surgery. uterine disorders that may be inflammatory in nature (such as such endometriosis) or congenital (such as septate uterus) or benign in nature (such as fibroids);disorders of the endocrine system that cause imbalances of reproductive hormones. The endocrine system is comprised of pituitary glands as well as hypothalamus. Examples of common disorders affecting the pituitary glands include pituitary cancers and hypopituitarism.The relative importance of the causes for female infertility can differ from one country to the next, for example due to variations in the prevalence of STIs or different age groups of the populations being examined.
