 Ayn Rand was a well-known RussianAyn Rand was a famous Russian American novelist writer, philosopher, screenwriter, and Conservativeor Libertarian political activist. She is most famously wrote The Fountainhead (1943) and Atlas Shrugged (1957). Wealthy Jewish parents welcomed her into the world in Saint Petersburg, Russia, on February 2, 1905. Ayn Rand, her birth name was Alissa Zinovievna Rosenbaum. Her most well-known achievement is her novel writing. Her philosophical system, Objectivism, is also well-known. Rand was born in New York City and died on the 6th of March, 1982. She was a student at Stoiunina Gymnasium, where she began writing at age eight. Though her parents tried to protect their daughters from the political upheaval which was taking place in the midst of that moment, Alisa gradually developed her personal views and advocated for an elected republican government over constitutional monarchy. Rand, who was 9 years old, decided to pursue a career as an author and was particularly inspired by the work of the works of Victor Hugo. The 1917 "February Revolution" broke out in Saint Petersburg, Alisa, 12 years old, was a fan of Alexander Kerensky over the Tsar Nicholas II. However, as the 'October Revolution' was set to begin at the end of 1917, their life as a family was totally disturbed. As the Bolsheviks were in the power, her father's business was confiscated , and they were forced leave for the Crimea in order to start over.
