Emeraude Toubia

 Emeraude Toubia, born on March 1, 1989 , in Canada was an American actress and model. She played Isabelle Lightwood in the Freeform fantasy series Shadowhunters. Toubia was born in Montreal. She was raised in Brownsville, Texas as an single parent. Mirta Sonia (nee Solis) was her mother. Her father was Lebanese and she was raised in Ciudad Victoria. Her paternal grandparents were from the Koura District, Lebanon.In 1999 at the age 10, Toubia made her first appearance on television's children's show El Mundo de los Ninos. She became widely known in 2008, when she was selected to be part of the second season of Univision beauty pageant series Nuestra Belleza Latina, where participants were rigorously trained in acting, presenting dancing, and other tasks; Toubia was voted first second place. Since then, she's been featured in commercials for various brands, including Maybelline, J. C. Penney, Sony, Garnier, and AT&T.
