Taraji

 American actor araji Penda (/t@’ra:dZi/t@-RAH–jee 11 September 1970) After completing her studies in acting at Howard University, she began her Hollywood career as a guest on a variety of TV shows. Her debut came with Baby Boy (2001). She played a prostitute on Hustle & Flow (2005) in which she was awarded an award called the Screen Actors Guild Award in the category of Outstanding Performance in an Actor Cast in a Motion Picture nomination. In 2008, she portrayed the character of a single mother with a child who is disabled in David Fincher's The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008) for which she was awarded Critics Choice Award, SAG Award as well as Academy Award nominations for Best Supporting Actress. She was a part of Date Night in 2010 and was also a co-star on the remake of The Karate Kid with Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith. She was a part of Taken from Me which was a Lifetime Television movie.
