Stan Lee

 Stan Lee (born Stanley Martin Lieber (born Stanley Martin Lieber (December 28th 1922 - November 12 2018, 2018) was an American comic book writer as well as editor, publisher and producer. He rose through the ranks of a family-owned business known as Timely Publications which would later be transformed into Marvel Comics. He was the main creative leader for the past two decades, overseeing its expansion from a small department of a publishing company to a multimedia company that was a major player in the comics and film industries.In collaboration with others at Marvel--particularly co-writers/artists Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko--he created iconic characters like superheroes Spider-Man, the X-Men, Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk Ant-Man, the Wasp, the Fantastic Four, Black Panther, Daredevil, Doctor Strange, the Scarlet Witch, as well as Black Widow. The 1960s saw the introduction of these characters as well as others. Lee challenged the Comics Code Authority's limitations in the 1970s.
