Nicolas Kim Coppola, born 7 January 1964 was an American actor. He is also referred to as Nicolas Cage. He is a member of the Coppola family and has been awarded numerous honors, including the Academy Award, Screen Actors Guild Award and an award called the Golden Globe Award. At the time, John Willis' Screen World, Vol. 36 listed him among the 12 most promising Actors in 1984. He won the Academy Award in 1995 for his performance in Leaving Las Vegas. He won his second Academy Award nomination for his performance as Charlie as well as Donald Kaufman in Adaptation (2002).
