Sir Michael Philip Jagger (born 26 July 1943) is an English music producer and singer who has earned international fame as the lead vocalist . He is one of the founder members of the rock group the Rolling Stones. His ongoing songwriting partnership with Keith Richards is one of the most successful in history. Jagger's career has spanned over six decades, and he's been described as one of the most well-known and influential frontmen in the rock music history. His distinctive voice and energetic live performances, in addition to Richards guitar style are the Rolling Stones' trademark throughout the band's entire career. Jagger gained press notoriety for his involvement in romantic relationships as well as his use of illicit drugs, and was often portrayed as a radical figure.Jagger was born in Dartford and was raised in Dartford. After studying at the London School of Economics, Jagger was a member of the Rolling Stones to continue his studies. Jagger wrote the majority of the Rolling Stones' songs together with Richards, and continues to perform together.
