American actor, businessman and rapper Mark Robert Michael Wahlberg was born on June 5 on the 5th of June, 1971. He used to be called Marky Mark. Wahlberg has been honored with multiple awards including a BAFTA Award and nominations for three Academy Awards, three Golden Globe Awards and nine Primetime Emmy Awards. He was born in Boston in 1971. Wahlberg was a member of the group Marky Mark as well as the Funky Bunch during the 1990s. The group released two albums: Music for the People (1991), and You Gotta Believe (1992). Wahlberg made his film debut in Renaissance Man (1994) and was the first actor to be a star in Fear (1996). He was highly praised for his portrayal of Dirk Diggler, a porn actor in Boogie Nights (1994). In the early 2000s, he began to appear in action films like Planet of the Apes (2001) and The Italian Job ((2003).
