American actor Mary Lucy Denise Henner. Her career began in the 1971 musical Grease, Henner made her debut on screen in the comedy-drama Between the Lines in 1977. In 1977 she was cast as Elaine O'Connor Nardo on the sitcom ABC/NBC Taxi. She was awarded five Golden Globe Award nominations. She also appeared in films such as Hammett (1982), The Man Who Loved Women (83) and Johnny Dangerously (84) The Man Who Loved Women (83), Johnny Dangerously (1884), RustlersRhapsody (1985), Rustlers Rhapsody (1985), Ladykillers(88), L.A. Story (1991) and Noises Off (1992). She was a regular on the CBS sitcom Evening Shade (1990-1994) and later appeared in a variety of films that included Johnny Dangerously (1984) Cannonball Run II (1984), Johnny Dangerously (1984) Rustlers' Rhapsody (1985), Ladykillers (88), L.A. Story (1991) and Noises Off (1992).
