Laura San Giacomo

 Laura San Giacomo (born November 14, 1962)is an American actress. She played Cynthia in the movie Sex, Lies, and Videotape (1989) for which she won the Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Female, Kit De Luca in the film Pretty Woman (1990), Crazy Cora in the film Quigley Down Under (1990), Nadine Cross in The Stand (1994) as well as Maya Gallo on the NBC sitcom Just Shoot Me! (1997-2003). She was two-time Golden Globe Award and BAFTA nominee. She also appeared on Rhetta Rodriguez on the TNT drama Saving Grace (2007–2010), as well as Dr. Grace Confalone, the main character in CBS' NCIS (2016–2019, 2022). After graduating, she moved to New York. San Giacomo was then able to appear in several stage productions like the Garry Marshall-Lowell Ganz production Wrong Turn at Lungfish (LA) as well as the Princeton/McCarter Theatre production Three Sisters as well as off-Broadway productions in Beirut. She also played a role in the Italian American Reconciliation and regional productions of Shakespeare's The Tempest and As You Like It and Crimes of the Heart. In an evaluation of the Walnut Street Theatre 1986 presentation of As You Like It, San Giacomo received a special mention:
