Born on 24 January 1971, Kenya Summer Moore is an American model and actress. She has also been a writer, producer, TV personality, and entrepreneur. Moore is most famous for winning the Miss USA pageant in 1993 and is a major actor on Bravo's reality series, The Real Housewives of Atlanta and has been a part of its fifth season from 2012.Moore rose to prominence in 1993 when she won the Miss USA contest, and being among the top six of the Miss Universe pageant. She was the second black woman to win the title of Miss USA, after Carole Gist in 1993, and is the first dark-skinned woman to win the competition. Moore has appeared in films and TV shows , including Waiting To Exhale (1995) and Deliver Us from Eva(2003), Girlfriends (2004) and The Steve Harvey Show (1998). She also was a part of the cast of The Celebrity Apprentice in 2015.
