Julia Fiona Roberts was born October 28 on the 28th of October, 1967. She is known for her lead roles in films covering a wide range of genres, she's been awarded many awards which include an Academy Award, a British Academy Film Award and three Golden Globe Awards. The movies in which she's been a part of have earned her more than $3.9 billion globally, making her one of the world's most financially viable stars.After an initial breakthrough through performances in Mystic Pizza (1988) and Steel Magnolias (1989), Roberts made her mark as an established actress in the romantic comedy Pretty Woman (1990), that grossed $464 million globally. The 1990s saw Roberts was a part of a variety of commercially successful films which included Notting Hill (1999), My Best Friend's Wedding (1997), and Runaway Bride (1999). She was nominated to the Academy Award for Best Actress for her part in Erin Brockovich (2000). Roberts continued her film career by releasing Ocean's Eleven (1901), Ocean's Twelve (2004) and Charlie Wilson's War (2007).
