Johnny Depp

 John Christopher Depp II, born on the 9th of June 1963 is an American actor. Many awards have been given to Depp, including the Screen Actors Guild Award and the Golden Globe Award. He was also nominated for three Academy Awards, two BAFTA Awards and Platoon (1986). Depp became famous for his role as a 21 Jump Street teen idol (1987-1990). Depp was mostly an actor in independent films, usually with eccentric directors, in the 1990s. Cry-Baby (1990), Cry-Baby? (1993), Benny and Joon (93), Dead Man (1995), Donnie Brasco (1997), Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas (1998). Depp also began his long-running collaboration with director Tim Burton, portraying the lead roles in the film Edward Scissorhands (1990), Ed Wood (1994) and Sleepy Hollow (1999).In the 2000s, Depp became one of the most successful commercial film actors.
