 Gwen Renee Stefani (/st@'fa:ni/ born on October 3, 1969) is an American musician, singer, fashion designer and actress. She is a co-founder, lead vocalist and the primary songwriter for the group No Doubt which's singles include "Just a Girl", "Spiderwebs", and "Don't Speak" in 1995, off their breakthrough studio album Tragic Kingdom, as well as "Hey Baby" and "It's My Life" from later albums.During the band's hiatus, Stefani embarked on a solo pop career in 2004 by releasing her first studio album Love. Angel. Music. Baby. The album was influenced by pop music from the 1980s The album was a huge critical and commercial success. It spawned six singles that included "What You Waiting For? ", "Rich Girl"," "Hollaback Girl",and "Cool". "Hollaback Girl" was the first exclusive US download to hit one million copies, reached the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. The Sweet Escape, Stefani's second studio album was released in 2006. The album's singles included "Wind It Up" and "The Sweet Escape",
