Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson, born on 15 April 1990 was an English actress. Her fame is based on her roles in blockbuster movies and independent films, as in her advocacy for women's rights. Watson has received numerous awards which include the Young Artist Award and three MTV Movie Awards. Forbes as well as Vanity Fair have ranked Watson as one of the highest-paid actresses worldwide. Time magazine also named Watson as one of the top 100 influential people in the world in 2015. Watson attended the Dragon School where she was educated in acting at Stagecoach Theatre Arts' Oxford branch. After appearing in the Harry Potter films as Hermione Granger, Watson ascended to fame as a young girl. Prior to that, she only performed in school productions. Watson was also featured in the TV adaptation of Ballet Shoes (2008) and provided the voice for The Tale of Despereaux (2008). Following the final Harry Potter film, Watson was a guest in My Week with Marilyn (2011). Then, she starred in the role of Sam who was a flirtatious character.
