Blake Ellender Lively, nye Brown (born August 25, 1987), is an American actor. Lively was born in Los Angeles. She is the daughter of actor Ernie Lively and made her acting debut with his directed film Sandman (1998). She played the lead character in the role of Bridget Vreeland on The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2005 as well as the sequel The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 (2008). Both were commercial success. She was the co-star with Justin Long in Accepted (2006). The role she played as Serena van der Woodsen on the CW Teen Drama series Gossip Girl (2007-12/12) earned her fame and recognition. She also appeared in romantic comedies like New York, I Love You (2008) or The Private Lives of Pippa Lee (2009).
