Bernadette (nye Lazzara born on February 28, 1948) was an American singer, actress and author of children's books. She has appeared on films, television as well as musical theatre and solo performances and recordings recorded. Her professional career spans over six years. She is a highly-acclaimed Broadway actor. She has earned seven Tony Awards nominations and won two of them (plus an honorary award) in addition to nine Drama Desk Award nominations. She also received three Drama Desk Awards. She has also won Grammy Awards for four of the Broadway productions she has performed in. (2018).
