Ashley Michelle Tisdale (born July 2nd in 1985) is an American performer and actress. As a child, she was featured in more than 100 commercials and played minor roles in television and theatre. Maddie Fitzpatrick, a Disney Channel teenage sitcom titled The Suite Life of Zack & Cody (1905-2008) was her first major success. This was amplified when she appeared as Sharpay Evans on the High School Musical film series (2006-2008). After the popularity of the series, Tisdale signed with Warner Bros. Records. She then released her first studio album, Headstrong (2007). The album was a commercial success and earned a gold certification by the Recording Industry Association of America. Tisdale played the voice role of Candace Flynn in the Disney Channel animated series Phineas & Ferb (2007-2015).Tisdale's second studio album, Guilty Pleasure (2009), was released to less commercial success than its predecessor. After the release of the album, Tisdale left Warner Bros. Records. During this time she started appearing in more movies and then returned to television with shows like Hellcats (2010).
