Ashley Michelle Tisdale (born July 2 1985) is an American performer and actress. She appeared in over 100 commercials as young and was also featured in minor roles in theatre and television. Maddie Fitzpatrick, a Disney Channel sitcom for teens named The Suite Life of Zack & Cody (1905-2008) was her first major success. This success was heightened when she appeared as Sharpay Evans on the High School Musical film series (2006-2008). Following the success of the series, Tisdale signed with Warner Bros. Records. The singer then released her first album as a studio artist, Headstrong (2007). It was a commercial hit and earned her a gold certification by the Recording Industry Association of America. Tisdale played the voice role of Candace Flynn in the Disney Channel animated series Phineas & Ferb (2007-2015).Tisdale's second studio album, Guilty Pleasure (2009), was released to less commercial success than its predecessor. Following the release of the album, Tisdale parted ways with Warner Bros. Records. She started appearing in more films, and she returned to TV with shows such as Hellcats (2010).
