Anna Cooke Kendrick was born August 9, 1985. She has been awarded numerous awards, including the Satellite Award, five Teen Choice Awards as well as three MTV Movie Awards, and nominations for an Academy Award, a Primetime Emmy Award and an Tony Award; making her one of the youngest people to be considered for the "Triple Crown of acting" and the youngest to have done so without winning.Kendrick began her career performing in theater productions at the age of just. She was the lead in High Society, a Broadway musical in which she performed. In this role she was nominated for the Tony Award as Best Featured actor in Musical. Her film debut was in Camp which was a musical comedy. She gained fame for her role as the Twilight Saga's star (2008)-2012. Further recognition came for the comedy-drama Up in the Air (2008) that brought her an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Additionally, she received acknowledgement for her performance in the Pitch Perfect series (2012-17).
